Yes. It uses the Windows SetWindowDisplayAffinity API to exclude the overlay from all screen capture. This is the same API that Netflix uses to prevent screenshotting. Works with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and any other screen sharing tool.
ScreenReader uses the BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) model. Your Anthropic API key stays on your local machine. We never see it, store it, or have access to it.

It uses Claude by Anthropic. The default model is Claude Sonnet, which offers the best balance of speed and quality. You can configure any Claude model in the settings.
